I qualified as a doctor from the University of London in 2006 and went on to specialise in general practice. In the course of this role I see many patients struggling with all types of pain - acute, chronic, sometimes unexplained by traditional medicine - but always debilitating, and impacting on quality of life.

I began to feel dissatisfied with what traditional medicine could offer - usually a cocktail of painkillers, with their associated side effects - and so in 2016 I trained in Western Medical Acupuncture through the British Medical Acupuncture Society (BMAS).

I am also qualified in Lifestyle Medicine through the International Board of Lifestyle Medicine (IBLM), and in my consultations seek to combine all three disciplines - for an approach which is truly holistic.
